Hummus: The ultimate snack
1 x 400g can chickpeas, drained, rinsed
2 cloves garlic, peeled, crushed
1/3 cup olive oil
1.5 tablespoons tahini
1 teaspoon ground cumin
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tablespoons water
Sliced cucumber, carrots or red capsicum to serve (or whatever you fancy!)
1) You can use a food processor or a stick mixer for this one. Place chickpeas, garlic, olive oil, tahini, cumin and lemon juice in the food proceessor and whiz together.
2) Add water and whiz again until it’s lovely and smooth.
3) Serve with veggies for a delicious, protein packed snack!
