When it comes to working out, I know how easy it is to say “not enough time” or “I’ll do it tomorrow instead”.
But sometimes, you need to just make it happen.
Can you find half an hour in your day today to commit to exercise? How about 15 minutes?
I was faced with the dilemma last week of only having 15 minutes available for a workout before peak hour started on the single laned roads of Norwest Business Park.
Beginning with the end in mind, I was certain I would drive home in a better mood and walk through the front door ready to be present for my family if I had a workout. Exercise for me is just as much about what it does for my head as for my body. If you are focussed for 15 minutes, you can get all the mood enhancing benefits of a longer session.
Here is what I did to ensure I got the hit I was looking for:
1. Wide grip chin-ups x Max reps
2. Alternating Cable Row + Rotation x 10 reps each side
3. TRX Y/T/W Row x 45 seconds
4. Standing Spin @ 90% effort x 1 minute
Complete this circuit three times with no rest and I guarantee you will leave the gym feeling like you have had a serious workout!
